Well, the holidays are fast approaching and I’m always in need a of unique gift. What better place to find one than the beautiful, handmade gifts at Artisans Online Mall!

There are a few people on my list who have everything, and I mean everything. In order to get them something they don’t have, I always go with a handcrafted item and I love it when that item comes from New Hampshire. You’ll find many original gifts at Artisans Online Mall, all made by hardworking artisans in New Hampshire. Where else can you find a collection like this?

Here’s a few of my favorite things:

I love quilted items, and although I do quilt I just didn’t have the time to complete any gifts before the holidays. I turned to Terri O’s beautiful quilted table runners this year, and I couldn’t be happier with Terri’s handcrafted items. They are available in a wide variety of prints and styles, and are very reasonably priced. You’re sure to find one for that special friend or relative!

Jewelry making is something else I would love to tackle, but I just can’t do it. I’m all out of time and I don’t have the talent or skills, so I’ve turned to the jewelry section at Artisans Online Mall. A & N Designz, Beachcombings and Clayworks all have affordably-priced, handcrafted jewelry available, including bracelets, necklaces, earrings and pins. They are very unique and worth checking out. It’s not too late to order for Christmas!

For wonderful wooden toys, be sure to visit Terry Miller Craftsman. You’ll find a variety of toys made individually out of various hard woods so that no two are exactly alike. My personal favorite is the Puzzle Truck.  It’s ideal for the child who likes a bit of a challenge with their toys. The car carrier hauls 3 cars that can be taken out and used separately, but they only go back on one way!

 

Wooden Jewelry Box

For the adult in your life, there’s a beautiful Jewelry Box. The inside is lined with a deep rich velvet cloth to help store or display the most precious of pieces. It’s available in cherry, walnut, mahogany, oak and birds eye maple, all velvet lined. Perfect for the special someone in your life!

 

 

Fall Meadow Scene Wooden Bowl

Looking for other gifts made from wood? You’ll want to check out Christine Davis’s  beautiful wooden bowls. Each bowl has a unique painted one of a kind scene; no two will be alike however they will be similar. The bowls are made of a variety of woods, some maple and some cherry wood. Once the landscape is painted on the bowls it is sealed with several coats of shellac finish. My personal favorite is the Fall Meadow Scene Wooden Bowl.

My favorite Bagcrafters purse

Have you seen the latest from Bagcrafters? Check them out at Artisans Online Mall! My very favorite bag is the “Pockets-A-Plenty” Purse; it’s just the right size at 11”W x 8”H x 4”D, has four outside and two inside pockets, an adjustable wrap-around 1 ¼ “ cotton web shoulder strap and a magnetic snap closure. It’s made out of a wonderful print with a beach scene, complete with Adirondack chair.
